What is required to do the programs?
First and foremost, students must have the desire to improve and be willing to work hard. Our program includes 5 days of homework per week. If this does not sound like a good fit for you or your child, this program is not for them. For those that do have the drive to get better, please read on.
Students will need to have access to sufficient space to handle and shoot pucks (30 hockey pucks, hockey net or drop net). An area where they can safely juggle a soccer ball is also necessary. They will need their favorite stick and hockey gloves. Indoors or outdoors does not matter if the player is comfortable and has the space required.
Technically, they will require access to a computer, tablet or phone to watch the videos. The videos are streamed so a High-Speed Internet connection is a must have to ensure the videos can be watched without interruption. The videos can be watched via cellular data on your device but they do consume a lot of data and may result in increased data usage.
What does the price include?
The price for each program includes a H Puck (Steel Puck) and an in-depth instruction booklet that the student will use to track their progress and will be shipped once payment is received. The student will also have access to a video for each week of the program. They are professionally created videos that the student can watch before doing their homework.
How are the videos delivered?
The videos are delivered by SendOwl, a third-party digital media company who have been around since 2010. They are integrated with our website so that upon completion of purchase an email will be automatically generated to the email used to purchase the video that will include a link to our videos. All videos will be accessible immediately and will be ready to go when your H Puck and Homework Booklet arrive in the mail.
Each student will have a week of homework to complete before moving onto the next video. It is important to not jump ahead or skip to the next week’s instruction early as the program’s success is dependent on the sequential order of the videos with the homework completed in full before the next week.
If you are not seeing your initial email in your Inbox, please check your Junk/Spam Folder for an email from email@example.com. This email will have your Order # as well as a link to the videos. You can watch the intro video at any time and then start with Week 1 when your package arrives with the H Puck and Homework booklet.
How long will I have access to the videos?
The student will have access to the videos for three months after it is delivered and then it will expire.
There is an option to purchase the six-month version of the programs if a student would like to have access for a longer period.
Can I download the videos?
The videos will be sent via a link for streaming only. They are not available for download.
I cannot view the video?
Our video streams do not work on the original iPad or iPhones that are generation 3 or less. If you are having issues viewing a video, please try viewing on another device or a different web browser before contacting us. Our videos are being used by a significant number of users without issue.
Can I share the videos with my friends?
The program is priced based on a single user license to view the videos so sharing is not permitted.
What happens if I get hurt and cannot train?
Contact us, we’ll work with you to make sure the program is available when you return to form.
I lost my H Puck or Homework Booklet?
Contact us and we will send another out to you. There will be a fee for these replacements as well as additional shipping costs. Please take care of both, coach Greg still has his original H puck which is 45 years old!
Are there shipping costs?
Yes, shipping costs are in addition to the program costs
As much as we would like to offer free shipping for all orders, the H pucks are heavy and increase the shipping costs. Shipping is via Canada Post, you will receive a tracking number upon shipment of your package. We will ship all packages within two business days of receiving the order, so you can get started with your training as soon as possible.
Stealth Hockey Training is based out of Nova Scotia, Canada and is not responsible for any customs fees or duties incurred for US and International orders. Please check with your local customs office for the rules and regulations that may apply to you.
What is your refund policy?
First and foremost, we will work with you to resolve any issues you may have with our products. We work hard to ensure our brand is reputable and fair. Unfortunately, there are situations that arise that require us to have an explicit refund policy and it can be found on our website or by clicking here.
There are no refunds if you are not satisfied with the results of your training. We cannot control the effort our students put into their training and our extensive experience providing this service has proven that the results will be there if the program is followed as it is designed.
Are Prices in Canadian Currency?
Yes, all prices are in Canadian Currency. Your credit card will apply the exchange rate when purchasing the product.
Why do I need to Accept the Waiver?
When purchasing the program you will be asked to accept our waiver as part of our check out process. The waiver follows the standard waiver content for most fitness and off-ice programs. The waiver can be reviewed in the footer of our website.
